Glad you still remember that Rolex, as you have seen and handled way too many nice watches. This Rolex is another special watch to me. In winter, I wear it with the same black jacket as I am wearing the Simplicity.

All versions of Simplicity are great. I haven't seen 34mm yet and have wondered how it looks like. It must be very nice too,and perhaps even purer in a certain sense. I also very much like the RG with lacquer dial, very classic. In my mind a 37mm PT or WG with guilloche dial plus a RG lacquer would make a perfect pair! However given that I can only afford one, I am happy with my current choice.

Wear it in the best of healthy!  The Simplicity is still a beauty to my eyes. 

When I had the chance to order one, I opted for the Series 2.  It was a tough tough choice!

It is always a big challenge for me to take a family shots of my watches. I'll try again later. For now, here are some individual pictures. (Well, I don't really regard Journe as an independent any more, but he is still with AHCI and my admiration for him only grows as time goes by.)

Seems like we do share some commonality in taste.

What a wonderful Christmas present, surely nothing else could top it?

For me it would be my ultimate grail watch. If I was ever fortunate to own one, it would virtually never leave my wrist.

To me it is the ultimate simple watch in the modern time, both technically and philosophically. I consider myself very fortunate to be able to own such a great piece of work.

to put Anniversary Langematik side by side with the Simplicity. They make an interesting duo. Both are in "white color" metal with "white color" dial. Both have traditional small second hand. Both are 37mm which is the perfect size to me. One is hand winding and the other automatic. One Arabic numeral and the other Roman. One Swiss made and the other German. One guilloche and the other enamel. The Simplicity is more stealthy looking, while the Anniversary is more colorful.

This is a very familiar fantastic photo, and I am right, it is the second one in your fabulous article of the Simplicity. When I mentioned that I ordered my Simplicity based on some readings and photos, I didnt make it explicit that the most significant ones are yours. Now you made me helplessly go back to your launchpad again.

Besides the Simplicity, I really love your taste in all your other watches as well. And fortunately I also got to acquire a couple of them.
