of my two absolutely most favorite Lange's!

He is a watch collector friend, an avid traveler and photographer (as shown in these two photos). He bought this Lange 1 LE in September 2010 when he was taking a trip in Bangkok, Thailand.

Thanks Emmanuel for another great post with insightful details! Almost like another "coincidence" between Panerai and GP - we have seen Ferrari chronographs from both brands, including the special foudroyante split seconds (e.g. PAM246, PAM343 vs. GP 9020 family), here we see Venus 179/185.

The Duograph is almost a synonym of Venus 179. If I could only have one Breitling, I'd choose Duograph over Navitimer. Other brands such as Record in 1940s also made split second chronographs using Venus 179, but no as prominently as Breitling.

Both the two sub-register and three sub-register versions in all different metal and colors... The movement looks very similar to UN's, close to the original Venus caliber. In comparison, GP and Daniel Roth have done more touch ups to the movement -- it still retains the classic look of a Venus 179,

This UN execution is fantastic! Love its design, especially the dial with individual number on it. These are also my most favorite Lange's, and the third being the original PLM tourbillon in YG.
