Alex, I hope you will indulge us and show us a sexy shot of the head on a black croc, too. I, personally, find that combo in rose gold to be utterly seductive.

the Ferriers will do quite well on their own.  Beautiful watch.  I agree with you that a tourbillon on a classically styled watch should be seen from the back.  In my opinion it works on the watches that are pushing the envelope or trying to develop a style unseen before, but on your watch it would destroy the classic simplicity of the piece.  The back  of the watch is as beautiful as the front. Congratulations.

a truly stunning master piece! i literally stared at the movement pictures for 2 mins just to admire the detail of the work of true artisans in the watchmaking industry. However i dont think the 41mm will be a good fit for my feminine wrists

Congratulations Alex, what a magnificent watch.

I saw this watch in your post regarding the Geneva Grand Prix finalists, and thought there was something 'familiar' looking about the style, without quite being able to put my finger on it.

Now knowing the background of Laurent Ferrier it all makes a little more sense. To my eye there is a certain 'fingerprint' of Patek in the the finishing and layout of the movement, while still being a new, unique creation.

And I love that last photo...

After fantastic post on CraigLA's double tourbillon and now you have another excellent tourbillon.

So this is kind of race of tourbillon nowadays. : )...

Ferrier's work is not only of top quality, but i'm particularly in une with the assumed understatement of the watch: nothing but the best, although only a true purist would recognise it! I love it!

Could you do us a favor? I'd love to see the last comparison shoot in high res quality!

You prefered : MB&F, Urwerk or Vianney Halter.

These are watch which are not my style, I admire the watches from a technical point of view but the designs are not my cup of tea.

 

The Laurent ferrier on the other hand ... that is a dream !
