Shock news!
News comes from Bart Gronefeld that Independent icons Philippe Dufour and Kari Voutilainen were married in an initimate ceremony during the recent tour of independent watchmakers in China:
Best Man/Maid of Honor Martin Pauli was quoted as saying: "I've never seen a happier couple! I hope that we will see many little timepieces from them soon."
It's great to see that the ardent wishes of independent watch fans around the world have finally been met. Kari will have a bit of explaining to do back at home, but meanwhile we can look forward to new creations such as the Duality Decimal Repeater and Simplervatoire...
