I was always intrigued by it, eve if definitely not for me, I must admit that it has a lot of character and charm.

Thanks, Andreas.  It is funny how certain watches look best with certain metal combinations, no?  Even my white-metal loving friends are pretty much agreed that the Antiqua in RG is "the one."  I'm mostly a colored-metal guy, but for me the Double Split has to be in PT -- no question.  And there are other pieces for which YG works really well -- my hope is that my watch from Volker will come sometime in the next while, and I've ordered it in YG.

Guys like you are why I have a safety deposit box at the bank .  That said, if you still decide to come to the house and can get past the gate, the alarm, and the Doberman who will greet you at the door, feel free at least to make yourself a sandwich!

It has been a real journey for me to accumulate these pieces -- I've had the Observatoire since 2008, acquired the Antiqua last year and the Simplicity earlier this year.  All wonderful, in my humble opinion!
