I finally got my Laurent Ferrier Galet micro rotor too....a week after Horogasm got his in Singapore last week
My eyes were originally set on the white gold, black dial example but eventually I picked the silver dial version after I saw it in the flesh with a gray strap.
The watch is more elegant than I thought and the finishing is simply superb. In fact, the pictures here won't do it justice. Don't worry - I won't bore you with the mechanical details by pretending to be an expert on the 'double direct impulse' system that replaced the traditional lever escapement.
Without further ado:

I will be wearing it a lot....I promise.

wow, we can't get enough of this one.
It a true strong actor of these high-end timepices, maybe my favorite in that upper stratum.
Thanks for the pictures and huge congratz
Cheers,
Mark
Samwan,
I tried on a rose gold and white gold yesterday... I was surprised how much I liked them... even after swearing I wouldn't buy another independent! This one is tempting me... wear it good health.
Best,
OpC

now I am assured I didnt make a mistake!!
wei---the Lange speaker got magnets...it will turbo charge the double direct impulse system!!
best,
Horo

On a very seminal piece of recent time ! It deserves lotsa wrist time.
but the dial on your Moser is astounding!
Congrats on the new addition and nice collection, too.
been eyeing that one after seeing Horo's pix!
Congrats!
and a great collection!!!
What a beautiful timepiece - both inside and out. I'll have to take a look at one of these in the metal one day.
Enjoy yours.

Another LF owner in this community! Fantastic!
The LF is one of those that grow on you over time.... I went from "ok" to "wow"
I would never get sick of the back view!!
Enjoy lots of wrist time!

In fact, both Kevin's and my collection include a fair number of independents.
Perhaps one day our portfolios may become identical
