I've just received my Vingt-8 from Kari Voutilainen!

I'm very happy as you can imagine and amazed by the work done.

I thought I could share two first pictures and I'm working on a review and hope to post it soon.

I love Kari's work and any of his pieces would be a grail to me. Congratulations! This is a really a dream watch. 

I've also been looking at these Voutialinen watches a lot these last years.

They represent something special, imho.

great strap choice color too!  You will never tire of this work of art. Important add to your collection. 

I think that indeed I might be happy to wear this one for a very long time!

The watch was given to me with a black strap and the blue one which is indeed very well matching the blue parts.

Tell us more! Enamel Dial !?

It is a lacquered dial François, I'll explain it in my future review but there are several layers and the last one is polished.

The shine surface is beautiful in the metal and is a little bit warmer than enamel.

Big Big Congratulations Mark!  I love it!!!  Is this an enamel dial... it is stunning, I love the way it is so clean.

In fact it is done in several layers that I'll explain in detail in my review but the finishing is stunning.

I wanted a quite pure dial on this one, even if I love his "guilloché" work.

and was amazing... its a great choice!  Any of Kari's to be honest is a good choice  

When I got mine I could see a black one Kari just finished, I have some pictures that I keep for a little post.

The black one is superb too, even if it is more difficult to keep clean (fingerprints, dust...)

Funny remembering when you posted yours, just before (or after) Baselworld and thought mine was coming around the same moment

They should meet one day if you come by Paris, tell me

That looks just perfect.  PLEASE some close ups of the dial (and movement).

I'm preparing a review in which I'll share more pictures. The dial shine is difficult to get in pictures (it remains matt on pics).
