Wow

That is great looking! I love the dial it pops out at you.

It's a multi-layer dial

The reason for the "popping out" dial is because it is 3 dimensional with different markers printed on different layers of solid and sapphire dials beneath the watch glass.

Very nice pics

Thank you, I'm already enjoying the posting, don't know why it took me this long to start participating instead of just reading them.

Welcome here, Jared. I have no 7750 in my collection, but I have its manual brother 773x.

In some excellent military watches, such as Hamilton, the Royal Navy one.

You will find the same manual movement in the Tudor Homeplate, ref 7032, which is very sought after.

The problem of the 775x and 773x? They don't have a column wheel, but cams for the chronograph function.

Less sexy, less sophisticated, but not less reliable, as far as I know.

Best,

Thank you for the welcome.

Great to hear a little about the 773x. I don't think the cams take away from the reliable at all. Do you think the use the cams cause it makes servicing the movement easier?

I don't think reliability is a problem. As said, these movements are workhorses. [nt]

I'm glad I made my way out from the shadows to. I'm having a blast with posting! I'm thinking of my next topic now love to hear other watch lovers point of view on why or what they like in watches.

One, Chronoswiss.

A chronometer-grade version. Regrettably, my eyes have become bad enough to take the fun out of wearing a chronograph.

I have also enjoyed reading your post welcome to the posting to.

I don't have a 7750 anymore . . .

. . . but did, for a few years, ensconced in a Fortis Flieger.  That watch was given (yes, as 'away'!) to a friend, who's had it ever since.  He's got a few watches, including a vintage Rolex, but the Fortis . . .

. . . is the most accurate, still runs well, and remarkably, has never been serviced in ten years.

Thank you, it's so

Great to hear how many different brands this is in. It is a great movement I live they way it vibrates on your wrist as it winds! Thank you for your comments!

I believe my Zeno chronograph has a Valjoux chrono movement in it

I haven't worn this watch in over 5-8 years .... Maybe it's time to whip it out from the dust smile

Cheers,
Anthony

Anthony that is a very nice looking time piece!! That's you for sharing in the post!!!

Here's a 7751, 10 yrs old with great accuracy. It was hibernating for 6 months.
