I just receive the email from Longines regarding the one I recently acquired.

The military connection mystery seems to have been solved according to this letter from Longines.
Longines confirmed the watch is/was indeed a pilot watch for the Czech Army. It has no engraving on the caseback, and no "Anti-Magnetique" on the dial.
Has anyone else seen this variant from 1935? Very curious. Thanks!
