"Curated" watch collection
Since I will probably not be able to get down to "just one watch" in my collection (see my previous post here: www.watchprosite.com), I was thinking of what watches would be in a realistic/attainable "curated" collection of around 10 or so watches (vintage and/or modern).

Tough game. The issue is that I already have my top ten.
And that I am more able to do a top 15 than a top 10.
I already have in my top ten:
- Polaris 65 original.
- Geophysic steel orginal,
- Deep Sea Alarm ( but which one to keep... ) original x 2.
- UN Freak,
- UN Sonata,
- Patek 5110P,
- Rolex 6542,
- Tudor 7924,
- Blancpain Vintage Fifty Fathoms AM.
I would happily add:
- Longines Big Eleven,
- JLC Duometre, probably a Chronographe, white gold.
- Vacheron Vintage Chrono, sector dial.
- Langematik Anniversary or Duometre QL Enamel.
- JLC Duometre UTT.
Now, I don't count the gifted watches, such as the TT Polaris 65 and 68, the TT DSA US, and one or two others...

Just goes to show how varied and eclectic our tastes are and that it really is difficult to get down to a few watches when there is so much choice out there.

Already more than ten in my collection . . .
. . . most of which are indispensable. Hard to conceive of a complete collection, though, without an Omega chronometer. They were comparable to the best from any manufacturer, not to mention overwhelmingly successful at chronometer trials.
Even though they're almost impossible to find these days, they go for a fraction of their true value, in my humble opinion. That's what makes them invaluable.
