I would post a picture but I'm away from home. These watches are indeed truly well-made and can stand up to the best. And it looks like the brand treated you very well. Wonderful to read this post, and maybe I'll get to visit there some day soon.

Love that steel atum

For your informatice post. Looks like you had a wonderful experience. I had no idea about the two levels of finishing on offer- something I will certainly take a look at. In some of the photos it almost looks like a frosted type finish.. This message has been edited by asonstuf on 2016-07-02 09:26:21

Very interesting topic Bruno. Thank you very much.

As a big fan of the German watch production, I think the Benu power reserve with its grey dial could be a future option ;-)

Best wishes

Not only made from human hair but also from the CEO's and founder's hair!

Christine Hutter is her name. The Benu Tourbi is a top piece! The Atum with blue dial in steel is a very nice "good sized" daily beater watch. Thank you for the report! Best Moritz

Ah, the blue dial in steel

Has anyone got any live photos of this one? I am intrigued.

Saw the original gold one last year and was really taken by the level of finish, but I have a thing for steel. So when I heard they're doing a simpler version of the movement in steel with a blue dial, I got interested...as you say, it could be a great daily wearer...

Terrible picture but it seems to be the only one I have

It has a very technical look - the way I think of a Geophysic or an old Milgauss. I'm just gonna have to go find one in the metal!

I've been watching these guys for several years now, met them a couple of times in Basel and had the pleasure of handling their watches.

All I can say, is a big thumbs up! I think their offerings are superb, and the finishing is excellent, with technical details & aesthetic that I love.

Your choice is brilliant, having seen that in person. It will provide many years of enormous pleasure owning it, that I'm sure of. For a brand to create such lovely watches in small quantities, I'm happy to see.

Cheers,
Tim

Thank you very much for this in depth review of manufacture dear Bruno
