That watch, with some luck, a sympathetic dealer, and some savings... don't give up the dream!
My own ambitions center around a JLC minute repeater. I'm still trying to determine which one.
The only certainty is that the original 2005/6 Master Minute Repeater 44 does not quite fit my wrist, but the 2011 Master Grande Tradition TiVan DOES due to its reprofiled case and lugs.
Also, I have a fondness for two rose gold watches, and that metal in itself is an exception for me: the 1994 Reverso Repetition Minutes, a landmark watch that is a great Reverso but a so-so repeater, and the 2015 39mm Master Grande Tradition Minute Repeater auto. All photo credits reserved to their originators (except for my wimpy wrist in the RG MGT shot):

Hey, that's me! Phenomenal case form and forceful with trebuchet strikers

Sublime, perfect, the most extravagant and the only one of the three with a fully visible caliber.

JLC's first minute repeating wristwatch? First Reverse repeater? First Eric Coudray complication project (solo or with a firm)?
