Hi All,
Will be in Paris for 24 hours this weekend. Any must do’s in terms of watch shops or boutiques that are highly recommended?
Also, if there are any ideas for wine bars with a good selection of Bordeaux or (preferably) Burgundy that would be must appreciated as well!

... Nice AD there : Patek, Breguet, JLC, Rolex many jewellers and Ritz hotel for the tea time so you may spend much more than your income there !

right bank: bucherer rue de la paix (lange cartier panerai go vacheron piaget and so on) and place vendome (rolex dubail jlc) fp journe boutique close to the Bristol hotel
Left bank: le bon marché and antoine de macedo

Walk all the way north to Galleries Lafayette.
For wine, I suggest Willy’s Wine Bar (you can say Will at Willy’s 😂) or the higher-end sister restaurant Macedo (sp?), both close by one another, a short walk from Jardin Palais Royal. Been many years for me so hoping they are still there.

It’s “Willi’s Wine Bar” and they are definitely in business now and current ratings look like their quality has not dropped. The sister restaurant is named “Maceo”.
Place Vendome is a brisk 8 blocks away so it would be efficient for a hardy New Yorker to walk.

A must-do for your consideration, wine, steak, a few smokes perhaps cigars, with the man himself. You shall be blown away, to meet Nicolas and talk about anything. He will make you laugh too. 😉
