Good trumps evil. This time, every time.
Nicolas' new Rolex was recently stolen on vacation. A special group of PuristS has stepped up and contributed to replace the watch. Thanks to the generosity of the names on this list, the new Air King has been purchased and is on its way to its owner.
Nico, speaking for everyone on this list, we are all beyond appreciative of the knowledge, expertise, and friendship you contribute to us every single day. We know it is not so easy on your end to accept this gesture, but please know we did it because we wanted to. If anyone on this website deserves it, it is you, our dear Friend.

Thanks for all the kind messages you have sent and support. There are some really good and kind people on this forum. I am so thrilled we did this finally. It is all because of the warm hearts of the people on the list that this became possible.
When I read Nico’s post about being robbed, again, my heart sank! Nicolas is one of the kindest and most generous people I know. He truly deserves this unusual gesture. This was only possible to put in to realization because it is Nico we are talking about here! It says a lot about him, I think.
MichaelC, this is all because you not only had a kind and generous way of thinking, but actually had the vision and took the initiative for this. You have my deepest respect, my friend. We had never communicated before but It has been a genuine pleasure to get to know you and work with you has been great. I really look forward to meting you in the physical world one day.

Damjan, I was going to thank Arie in the thread when Nicolas gets his watch.
This particular thread was for the members who donated their money to the cause. Arie asked us to donate money to cancer, but I could only start with this project. One thing at a time for me.
I am not sure how the information came to you, as you did not contribute on the project at all. Did Arie tell you he sourced the watch, and was not given thanks for his doing so?
Everyone else involved with this project has asked for nothing in return. Arie will be credited in another thread, and now here, so double credit for Arie.
Do not ever worry about MichaelC not doing the right thing.
