What would your collection look like if you limit yourself to 5 watches?
Say you're willing to spend (grey or list) up to 50,000 € per watch but not more than 125,000 € for the whole collection. You limit yourself down to five watches and want variety, so you pick one watch from each brand and a maximum of two from each category (casual, luxury sports, diver, chronograph, pilot, simple dress or complicated dress). Which models would you chose?

The thing is that I am top lucky to already have them. Now, if you ask me to sell a big part of my collection to get 5 other watches, that is another story. But I fear that for at least one
Maybe two, I will have to go above 125, 000 Euros.
It's not about having the perfect collection...
...it's more about how your collection would look like if you love watches but simply can't build your perfect collection.

GO split second, Patek 5140 in J, Rolex GMT SARU in YG, VC Traditionelle Small Second in P and a Lange DS
I know the SARU is an acquired taste but I like it!

That's a very nice collection, you have a lot of variety there even with just 5 watches.
Discipline is the hardest element of collecting.
i've put exactly this limit for my collection...
i'm slowly working towards that, i'll retain one from what i've today & letting go with few and add (which is the difficulty)...
my final 5 would be,
1) JLC Reverso Q3908420
2) Laurent Ferrier Galet Square Blue dial
3) Patek 5711 blue dial (only if i get it at retail price & i'm crawling in the queue)
4) Rolex Daytona 116500LN Black dial
5) another JLC or a PP 5196p
