Hello all!
I have finally decided to begin contributing to this forum after being inspired by the many wonderful posts from fellow Purists. Recently, I had the pleasure to visit the well-curated Uhrenmuseum Beyer and I am impressed by the diversity of horology on display, in terms of both time period and brands. Hodinkee did an episode of talking watches with Rene Beyer, the owner, not too long ago and I will attach the link below. Here are some of my personal highlights, anybody fancy a guess at what the last photo is about?

Yes, and from what the museum staff told me, these equipment also control the clock you see in the first picture and numerous others within Zurich. [nt]

walk around the building
look at all the equipment, try not to bother the working watchmakers
look at a few fancy (as yet unsold) watches
View watch built in his student days to get things started
NO ONE else touched this watch
Ask a few questions, get shown some answers
Ask a stupid question, translator mortified, FPJ unhappy
Tour over, out we go into the street
walk around the building
look at all the equipment, try not to bother the working watchmakers
look at a few fancy (as yet unsold) watches
View watch built in his student days to get things started
