We had to ensure a safe venue, no advance warning of the exact location and time of meeting, allowable behaviour, etc.
Robbery, violence, damage to another member's property, accidents due to drink and drive, etc. are definitely NOT what we want happening at a GTG.
Thus the "official" meetings are "chaperoned" by a moderator. And probably (I forget) he buys all the drinks for everyone for the entire evening, right? Right Nico, Bill?
