Just bought a 'bitzer' - bits of this and bits of that - but it does have a Landeron cal. 48 movement and new-old-stock dial & case (35mm). Am quite pleased, I think. Mind you, it's still in Germany and I'm in the UK. Time will tell.
Well, my intuition was right. 19 days after buying the watch, it's still in Germany. Thanks primarily to a servant of Zeus, whose website heralds nothing. (Please forgive the enigmatic reference. I can't name the courier.)
Well, after (slow!) German post, import duty, handling charges, service & repair (of a movement the seller said was new old stock, but isn't), the watch is finally on my wife's wrist. She likes it ... so she says.
:-) Yes, it is a charming piece: pre-WWII, 34.8mm mixture of stainless steel & chromed metal, traditionally blued hands, a two-level dial of lovely colours and keeping surprisingly good time.
