Doxa 300
I know many fellow purist here are enjoying their Doxa dive watch… I got a chance to try one for the first time and I can now understand why the love for this reference. It will certainly be in the considerations for future acquisition! Cheers

Hello dear friend Yacomino. You can never go wrong with a Doxa. It´s a classic among diving watches. Beyond its vintage vibes it is reliable, tough and precise. A lot of watch for the price I feel.

The orange dial variant is the most popular and inmediately associated with the name "Doxa" but it is worth considering other variants offered in their catalog with silver, black or blue dials and including the trending Tiffany color version as well as yellow and white.

I love the SUB300 too. Any thoughts on the 300T by comparison?
Right. I've always wondered how much COSC certification matters ...
... especially given that it's the same movement. The 300T also has a helium release valve, which we all need, of course ;-)
Hello John! Thank you for your comments. I own another Aqua Lung with an orange dial and a Doxa Army.
I have no experience with the 300T, but I know it has a 1200 ft depth rating (980 ft for the 300) it has an Helium valve and its movement that is not COSC certified (the 300 movement is certified and has not He valve).
The Doxa Army has the same rating as the 300 (980ft) and its movement is not certified but it has the Helium valve as the 300T.
The 300T has a lower retail price than the 300, probably due to some difference in the movement which makes the proce difference. My Doxa Army is accurate as the 300 in spite of not being COSC certified.
