Zenith for me. Better size. Even without a date. And as I get older I am preferring yellow gold over white gold

I've always liked that particular model. Never tried it in gold but almost bought it in steel on several occasions. It just hangs together unusually well.
Zenith with all the pros you listed above.
Also given you have many other watches you don’t necessarily need the “versatility” of a white gold watch. Zenith stands out a lot more as it should but in a good way.
The Zenith, just because of the date which is ridiculously centered on the GP... The fault of a too small movement for the case.
Location of the small seconds also gives away the Zenith movement size
