A colourful watch for today.
With the Awake Son Mai and its superb artisanal "Amethyst" dial.
Given the expected high temperatures for today I put it on one of my trusted Barton silicone straps ...and like the looks,

This is the very best photo I have seen of an Awake dial — perfect lighting it seems — and the strap works well.
Thanks,the watch is terribly difficult to take pictures.

The OEM strap is pretty similar.
The rubber is however much better suited for a hot summer day 🥵
This watch has one of the most unique uses of lume.
(maybe a lume shot if you have one?)
Here is a lume shot.
Looks impressive in pictures but much less in reality.
The blocks of lume do not charge very fast and they do not hold the lume very long !!
Many of my Aviation or Diver watches have much better lume than this.
So much more of a design feature than of practical use.
