Would you go for retro heritage or modern and rugged design?

The case/bezel of the Seiko is more appealing, and the low profile and dial on the Casio are an improvement over the Seiko in my opinion.... Sorry, that wasn't helpful in the slightest 
As i have the first, I’m partial to that design, in stainless steel, black or gold
That said the bezel shape and colors of the 2nd are very appealing.
I’m guessing that G-Shock in 40 years time
is going to look as appealing as the Seiko looks now, not that it doesn’t look appealing right now, just different vibes. I’d get both and see how they look design wise in another 40 years, if I can make it for that long .
