Horological Meandering

I have an Omega watch from 1965. The second hand is rusted, but it's still ticking.  Needs a new crystal and band, and probably more.  It is my father's and was awarded to him in his old football days.  I want to restore it for him, but I am not sure if it is going to cost way more than just buying him a new one???  Looking for someone to help out and give me suggestions and a reputable watch restorer to get more details.  Thanks so very much!  Chrissy

i´d get in touch with Omega; rust inside indicates need for thorough work and restorations may need to exchange parts, which may not be accessible everywhere.
