Hi folks,
Bought this piece sometime back last year(i think so),its a limited piece with 50 in wg and 100 in rg(if i have not mistaken). This traditional chrono are among those still left over and they are simply rare today, especially those with rattrapante capability(panerai have came out twice very limited pieces).
ML might have refurnish it inside out, they did a good jab on the case and i love the engraving around the side face of the case. The effect on the chrono pusher are definately amazing and you will feel irresistable wanting to push the button again and again.
I have not tried the Cal.100 in their new chrono which launch last year. But to date,i am able to praise ML with their commitment towards improvement, over just afew years they have done wonders. In my humble little opinion,i would say this piece stand a place in the best complicated and sophisticated chronograph movement list todate.
ladies and gentleman,i present you Venus chrono movement, hope you like it.
Warm greetings,

This is one of the very fine old movement from those days...very nicely made. Only thing that didnt catch my eye is the dial design. Everything is almost perfect and of course, its one of the best ML around apart from Memoire 1 and some rectangular handwinding pieces. Wear it in good health and enjoy playing the chronograph

Hi Jackey,
Nice to hear from you!
cant agree with you more, almost everything is perfect!Sometime its difficult to put a real firm on decision and policy of acquisition.Like you mentioned, the old movement is difficult to get therefore i Grab it although the dial design is little odd/less convincing.
Excuse me of the bad lighting compare to your nice pictures posted in the past.
Anyway,thanks for looking into mine!
warm greetings,

Hi BHK, ur photos are as good as mine if not better
Seriously, that is one very unique movement u got for today's wristwatches. The shop did show this ML to me when it arrived but i just dont have the extra dough to take this baby home with me
Glad it found a better home. Cheers.
Regards
That chrono is an example of the really good stuff ML does. They are moving away from refinishing new-old-stock movements and towards using their own in-house movements like the Andreas Strehler designed chronograph movement in the Le Chronographe, so a watch like yours is growing more uncommon.
Wear it in the best of health!
