Jacky got me interested in them so I tracked one down and bought it..!!! It's now one of my favourite pieces and gets a LOT of wrist time.....and also nice to know it's a rare piece as only small numbers are made. I think you have to see them in the flesh to see what all the fuss is about.
Andy.

a watch thats ltd edition and going for more than retail. i should be locking it away until the price goes up more, but it belongs on a wrist, preferably mine.
its not the best timekeeper i own, but i do use a laptop regularly which can affect timekeeping.

it feels quite big on my wrist when a 47mm radiomir doesnt. i think its because its square rather than the pams which have rounded edges. it gets a lot of remarks from people, looks good, keeps good enough time so i'm very happy with it. i dont know anything about the movements, in fact i dont even know who makes it. i assume its an eta/valjoux based piece but i'm not 100% sure.
i think the brand are very up and coming, the new range is superb. whether they'll ever be as addictive as Panerai i really dont know, all i know is that i own a Bell & Ross and dont own a panerai
there isnt even a Panerai on my wishlist.
Graham
I find your post is very honest and fresh. I like it. You just like it because of its simple function, to tell the time and it looks good on your wrist! That's what it is all about actually in basics. I am the same. I do not really pay attention to movements when it comes to certain watch brands that I like the same ways you like yours. Yes, the shape sits nicely on wrist and stable. I like that. Very easy going piece to wear day in and day out. (",)
Cheers,
Linda

Hi. My 2 cents... One other thing to consider with any watch is the after sales factory service. I have a Pilot S chrono (Bell and Ross by Sinn) vintage about 8 yrs old. Was sent to after sales service in Florida for routine overhaul. I never even heard an acknowledgement that they had received the watch, much less a written service estimate etc. for 3-4months after sending it. Finally after numerous Emails and phone calls/complaints I did receive my watch back, serviced and without charge.

Your photos are much better than mine

Hi SXW, good day. I'll let the photos do some talking first
And the inexpensive Tourbillon instrumento! Did i said 'inexpensive'? I must slap myself for that ! LOL.......
Carbon body with Ti and DLC coat.
Warning colors....
IT is not just about colors, i understand many thought it is just a trendy thing but after speaking to Mr Ross, he have a direction and it is not a direction headed by fancy brands like FM or Hublot, and also different from Panerai. I used to compare Bell&Ross directly to Panerai but after having some conversation from him, i found out its different
How different? U will see the answer this Basel time
And to add some touch of luxury...in a masculine way...
Varieties of BR01...
And remember this? They are beautifully done outside and have the 'touch' of Vincent Calabrese inside
Truely understated watch....
And this one....the Flyback Annual Calendar, Big Date. U see any similiarities in RM 011?
There is MUCH more to explore about this brand and it is interesting to see how it moves up to another level every year. When i first got my BR01, i do not know so much about the brand, I merely like the look of it. But after meeting with many BR lovers and the guy himself i learned alot and better understand the brand. Well, whether it will become the next OP, i dont think so. It is going its own way. Not following anyone, not copying anyone
And really, it is not stopping yet.
My watch

Jacky
Jacky, I shouldn't have opened your post. After seeing those, I am tempted with getting an orange leather strap to match mine...sigh.. also agree it is a brand pointing towards its own direction because it has its own concept , design and style. It is either you like it or not. Period.
Linda
Yes, Jacky, I like seeing the orange strap virtually but would rather seeing it in real so hang on there, I shall get mine done ! ha ! Thanks again, by seeing it on the wrist convinced me it is really nice to pair it with the watch (",)
Ps: I am a sucker for orange colour!
Gosh! You have gotten hold of the yellies already? I', loning for BR to launch yellow when i got my first BR01-94 orange.... and it later developed that i wanted to keep all the colours as well.....
I'm still waiting for the ARs to offer a piece to me once they arrive....
Pls let me know if you can recommend anyone to me to get a piece of this asap!!!
hahaha! thanks!
after yellow and red, i hope they'll come out with bright pink and green....
Thanks for sharing pal! And please share more shots with us if you have any other nature shots again

but having tried them on , square watches are certainly not my cup of tea and think they look better as table clocks really .
The most fashionable and signature pieces are the square ones unfortuantely which looks terrible on small wrists . Just my personal
thots as most on this forum may not agree as evidenced by the excited posts ahead of me .
George
It is not for everyone. It needs to match you. Your character, your style and your personality. Yes it is a weird watch, but at the same time when you get hooked you get hooked - hook line and sinker. It is just like Panerai. You get some sort of nostalgia from wearing the watch.
I don't think the is a unique case. I think every watch style from many brands have a hook. Just like top forty songs. They, as you have heard time and again, "sing to you". If you hear the musicgo for the watch. If you don't keep hunting.
B&R is not for everyone but that is what makes it special.
Bill
Personally, I like it for the shape first. Have all kind of shapes in my collection but it is darn hard to find a square one that has the x factor to make me reach and grab it. Secondly I like the look which is quite unique and draws my eyes to it even when I do not need to tell the time. It has the simple and clean look yet functional depending on what model you choose. It is the watch that sealed the deal and I am happy to share with you that it just so happen tomorrow I am collecting my second piece in white ceramic case, mother of pearl dial and white strap, which again, letting me retire from years of searching for the right 'white' piece. Since many have shared their opinions and photos with you and all are true to their own essence, here is mine.. thanks to B&R I get my first square piece and soon-to-be first white piece! (",) In other words, if the watch talks back to you and satisfy your requirements without emptying your pocket, it is a piece for you. (",) Good luck and happy hunting!
Linda
Smooth and feminely done....

Very happy with mine. The fit and finish is much nicer than I expected when I first viewed the models.
It is keeping -30s after 26 days of ownership.
It blends very well...really the black case and that green dial and velcro...sweet!
