I have to admit that I haven't seen this Hermes annual calendar watch in person before (heck haven't even see it in picture before either until today), but I'm surprised a different watch didn't win.

Anthony, I would say there were quite a few surprise winners in their individual categories. This shows that the jurors voted with their heart, mind and soul. The public votes also reflects what appeals to them the most, doesn't it? So surprises are good, shows the difference in tastes and perception from both collectors and non-collectors alike.

Some choices are not a surprise, as the Gyro II, for instance...

Some absents are a bit surprising, tough...

I'd thought that GP had, this year, a place to be quoted, too, for example...As they really deserve to win some price, this year, for their amazing and excellent work.

I also think that an Independant as De Bethune, or MBF, would have been an excellent choice..

But I really find interesting to know what our fellow and pursits friends think, and their choces are, IMO, excellent.

I have the chance to visit the display at Daum in Singapore. And bling in a well thought and crafted piece such as the cartier with the panda mortif really change my perspective about having diamond embedded in watch case/bezel.

Wow ! alot of ladies' watches attracted me than the man''watches that night. I think it is time to consider some to them for our hardworking friend at home. haha.  Anyway, great to see  so many watches which is hardly  able to view them in Singapore. Thanks
