My watch just arrived! It took Anthony less than a week to ship the watch to me and I am happy to say it is just as attractive and unusual as I have seen or reviewed on this forum. The marks on my bezel are aligned well in contrast to what a number of you have written. Now I have to read the directions so pardon me while I do so!
BigDaddy,
Sorry to interupt your reading of the instructions
The bezel marking "alignment" discussions revolved around the optical phenomenon or parallax effect of a thick watch with flat profiles. If you tilt the watch or squint through one eye (or the other), you can observe this effect.
The difference observed may be 1 or 2 pulse beats per minute that really cannot be detected because the bezel calibration is only to 5 or 10 beats/min resolution. Normal average pulse is 70 bpm to put things in context.
Congratulations on the new watch!
Regards,
MTF
PS: Wasn't BigDaddy a British super heavyweight wrestler?
it turns out that the losing time was nothing whatsoever to do with the movement, one of the second hands was touching the glass very slightly slowing it down. problem fixed very easily and its been times to 6 positions so touch wood it should be within COSC tolerances.
enjoy yours.
Graham
Hope you enjoy yours as much as I enjoy mine. Btw, got many positive comments on the PuristSPro ABR at our Chopard NYC dinner event last night!
Cheers,
Anthony
