Alas....I have a confession to make....while the watches are mine, my photography skills have not improved overnight. I had external help -a friend whose skills are 100 times better than mine.
To answer your question on lighting:
We did not use natural lighting. Instead, we used 3 light sources (lamp or bulb) with white diffusers (like what we typically use in a studio). One diffuser was on top and two at the bottom. Then we adjusted their positions until we get the desired effect (in other words with repeated trial-and-error) using a Nikon D700 camera. At this juncture, photo-editing came into the picture (excuse the pun)...
Please note that I am using the word 'we' very generously.
Cheers
Sam
Sorry couldn´t resist

Not just only the watch, but the magazine quality picture with black croco patterns in the background. Very very executive-looking!

Daos… the Toledo and the Resonance really appeal to me in these photos. The VC because of the unusual case shape and the Journe because of the dial and hands which your friend has captured beautifully.
Thanks again and keep these images coming.
