Horological Meandering

Guys,

In my line of work, i see many fine watches everyday and sometimes i wonder if they belong to any of us here. But i can't be sure, and don't venture to break a conversation about watches with customers.

I was thinking if we could create something like a watch attachment to mark our membership here, like those leather hoops on a leather strap, Something subtle that can be attached to every purist watch. It'll be fun, and very useful.

I'd like to know your opinion.

what if we want to wear our JLC's, Rolex, Cartiers etc, and still want to indicate we are Purists, my friend?

I am sure we do not want to have 178 purists only.  we want more real purists.

To me, the mark of purist is insignificant and superfluous.  I prefer purists at heart.  They can be located through conversation.

I like that idea a lot.

The alternative is some type of  liveStrong type black rubber bracelet.  You see all kids of execs support various causes in this way.  Our cause is the ... Oh I don't what our cause is but that is feasible.

Links are difficult given their custom nature, and attachments can interfere with comfort, but all of us have a watch or two that could look nice with an authentic PurstS Pro strap.  Perhaps a NATO with symbolic stitching for the summer and/or a distinctive custom leather strap for other occasions?  I would vote for something subtle for the symbol so that those in the know recognize it right away while those that don't do not question what it means.  All the best.

I would enjoy wearing one of those.
