Horological Meandering

Not billiard, but the swimming pool   I took my nephew to the nearby hotel pool and mostly lying on the beach bed - with my PuristSPro ARB watch on my wrist.  People looked at my watch and made a strange look but seemed not able to take their eyes off   I felt very proud wearing this, hehehe.  The hotel was, by the way, one of the best in Japan (Hotel Okura).  I hope I captured the beauty and the "proud" (I couldn't shoot the ladies who looked at this - common sense regulation

Very distinctive "four" second hands.  All Black Rescue Watch.  Very fitting in the environment, don't you think?

Wow, with Leica M3 at the lunch table! - new arrival, debuted at this "outing" and still haven't seen how I did

Too bad you did not get any photos of all those inquisitive ladies that came by in their bikini looking at your watch. LOL

to wear by the pool Ken. The ladies looking at your watch, I think it's a subtle way to show favour to the wearer. You don't expect them to look you in the eye & smile,do you? That's too forward in their culture. Just my deduction but I could be wrong

M3 - hope you used hyper-focal distance setting to take pictures of the ladies, without them realizing it ...
like "Street Photography" ... "Swimming Pool Photography" ... and if somebody asked, it was you just
taking pictures of the kid´s having fun

... ladies in bikini in these public space, I tell you.  Not that they are shy, but that is "inappropriate" in the public pool where kids and families are around   And as for M3, I did not bring it with me as I did not want it to get wet even before my first roll is finished!  M3 is, to me, "brand-spanking-new"! 

So, after the trip, I finished the first monochrome roll and will bring it in for development tomorrow with easy scan down to CD-ROM....  Let's see how good or bad the METER is, hehehe.

Nice to see the PuristS ABR getting some recognition. It's a very striking watch with the propeller seconds hands and carbon fibre dial (and yes, it's real carbon fibre).
