I know I tell you all not to shout, but it is appropriate sometimes!
Thanks to my friend pplater and to all the PuristS who contribute to this great site and (usually) make the life of moderators easy. 12 months has certainly passed quickly and it has been great fun. I appreciate all your contributions and in fact I hardly have to 'feed' HoMe anymore, you guys come up with many interesting and unique topics and the responses set PuristS apart from many other horology websites. I always enjoy waking up in the morning and seeing what you guys have been talking about.
The highlight for me has been meeting many more of you, both at home, during my travels and at IGOTT2 which was an amazing event. I hope that many more of you can attend future international gatherings.
Thanks also to my fellow moderators who make being part of PuristS something special. It's the overall feeling of community, family in fact, that is wonderful and transcends the watches we like to collect and discuss. I also appreciate that we hardly ever see people showing off with their watches. It is like sharing things with friends and we all appreciate what our friends own, just as they appreciate ours. And of course the way people contribute their knowledge and experience, much of it gained over many years, is priceless.
Life outside PuristS has been rather consuming for me in the last couple of months, so I haven't quite spent as much time here as I would like, but I have some interesting topics for you to round off our Tenth Anniversary year. Keep up the great contributions, always support each other, and don't jump to conclusions too quickly. I look forward to many more years of fun and sharing around our favorite topic: horology.

Speaking from a personal perspective, he has also been a fantastic horological buddy and mentor.
Thanks for all that you have done Andrew - thanks for all that you will go on to do, hopefully for a long time to come.
How about a 'year in review' post to celebrate the milestone, chum?

One year is fast to fly past with Andrew moderating HoMe. Almost everyday there are interesting topics and knowledge shared in this forum there is not a boring moment. Because of Andrew's dedication and charisma, he made this place more fun to 'hang around' in!
