Are attending, and who come from very far!
If not Paris, London, one month later...
Best,
Nicolas
given how close this would be to the Paris GTG I am wondering if it may dilute attendance as people may not want to travel to Paris and London within a month of each other.
I don't think the Olympics would impact too much on a late May GTG as the opening ceremony isn't until the 27th July, so a god couple of months away.
And given that it is Olympics year, perhaps two GTGs would be in keeping with the spirit of friendship across country borders.
I'll post this in the London GTG thread on the HoMe page and get a feel from people there.
Regards.
Simon

And, undisputably, you're one of them...
Was my pleasure, ans I just hope we'll do it again!
All the best and a big THANK YOU.
Nicolas
Although we have never met before, i feel too your strong passion already through the posts and threads that we share and often debate about.
Which is a good thing as it forces me to open my sometimes very stubborn eyes and brain.
I have full confidence that one day, at a certain time we shall definitely be able to meet up on this very small Bleu planet!
In the meantime, continue to take care, and a huge MERCI BEAUCOUP for all that you do for us right here on the PuristS!

And that, I respect a lot.
You will see, you will less and less care bout size, and automatic movements, to celebrate Beauty in all its expression.
All the best, from another stubborn fellow.
Nicolas
Maybe you STILL dont get me, hehe
But it is ok, as we say it here, to each his own.
But you , i respect so much too!
Size is one thing, automatic movement is God forbid NO!
I wonder if i can ever see beauty in that end of things.
If not, well here's to my own eyes! ( Which i just spent quite alot on mon ami)
Stephen
You may change your mind...
If you ever notice that this watch is auto!
Give me just one week, to end the post, and we'll discuss that point about auto movements.
Best,
Nicolas
Actually i loved it so much, until i realise it was an automatic!
Then, perceptions changed, and i hated it!
Maybe too strong a word, but i'll await your post on the GP forums!
Thanks for the heads up!
A bientot

You have done well by this site and thank you as well for entertaining my extremely novice questions when I came on to this site in my early days. Come to think of it, I still do have a lot of very novice question even now.
Very very nice pics but I must say, and this is purely a compliment, that of all the pics, the profile shot of a certain lady is indeed the most enticing by a country mile.
To your 100,000th post my friend.
Well, it mas during my first SIHH, and we decided with my two friends, to take some pics which are not related with watches, not at all...
Well, a bit, as she was an hostess working at Baume Et Mercier, and no, you won't get her phone number, even if you kindly ask.
Best, and thanks for your kind words, Arthur
Nicolas.
