through this hobby of watches and all things horological I have met some of the nicest people one could ever wish to meet, and of them all you have been one of the most open, friendly, inclusive and interesting to meet.

I am humbled that you mention me in your post and that you recall me having to withdraw from the forums for various reasons.  It is good to be back and to once again share a passion that for me never died, and it is wonderful to see that everyone is still here and still sharing the passion and the wity banter.

I look forward to seeing your next 50,000 posts and to once again meeting you and all of the friends that I have made here.

I am always sad when the passionate people that I enjoy reading had to leave us for various reasons. Great to hear that your passion for horology hasn't diminished and I hope to see a lot more of you again. I recall those London GTG posts as a highlight, and I hope you can get to Paris in April; it would be great to meet.

I will definitely be there in Paris in April (work permitting) so I look forward very much to seeing you again.  Perhaps we may also meet if you can make the London GTG in May (if I can get that going).  There is a thread about it on the Home page.
