I was closely looking to the Breitling collection lately, especially the Transo, Navi and the SuperO Heritage.
Then, when looking at the novelties, I thought I would put this one at the 1st place, even if the 46mm is too big for me. But surely the one I have the best feeling with (not a heavy dial design, with peaceful colors and a 50's charm I like very much).

I always assumed that manufacturers had a target audience in mind when they released a new watch. Reading watch press, I always got the general impressions that the US market was more geared up for big case watches than any other so I guess this must be where most of these are headed!
I find myself drawn to vintage more and more each year as the only new watches I like are WAY out of my price range. Aesthetics are the first thing I consider looking at any watch, new or old and 9 times out of 10 aesthetics go out the window when you are looking at something that is this big. The strangest thing is that manufacturers seem to be making new watches (this one being a case in point) that take styling cues from vintage pieces that so many of us love but then go against all those principles by making them so much bigger. People must be buying watches this big otherwise manufacturers wouldnt keep bringing them out, but I wouldnt have thought many customers would be "purists". There is room for only one 46mm watch in my safe
