Horological Meandering

This weekend we have a not so common Heuer, the reference 150.511 (Monza).

Nice watch, carrying the automatic caliber 1x (I believe it's 12).

I love the black/red/white combination that, just as a coincidence, are the colors of my football (or soccer) team.

Next week I plan to post more racing chronographs or, if I had enough time, all Autavia chronos that I could capture on this photo session.

Love Heuers and your picture series is fantastic

... of the continuous seconds at 11 o'clock. Caught me by surprise as we are so used to the symmetrical bicompax layout. I like it a lot, and the red on black works beautifully with the aged luminova.

Of the running seconds is also used on other Heuer chronos, like the Skipper.

This collection belongs to a friend that started collecting watches eons ago and was kind enough to let me share pics that I took sometime back.

In fact I don't own any Heuer. I had some in the past but for one reason or another I let them go.

A quick check of my pictures shows that the Heuer Skipper (I had one long time ago) has also this configuration (asymmetric registers).
The ones that I had on my mind is the running seconds that has the small size.

In respect of a "head shot", the watches are on a safe and I will ask the owner when this is doable. Stay tuned.
