Do you have one in your collection? Whether it's ceramic, PVD/DLC, forged carbon or even plastic, it would be interesting to see the variety of these 'dark knights'. It may also help me decide on my next piece. smile

My personal choice - as an owner and wearer - would be the Sarpaneva Korona K0 in a black-diamond case and crown, with a monochrome dial.

Or - within a lifetime beyond wealth and stealth - there is his Black Moon.

Otherwise you GET met by Lillith - the goddess, a demon creature who specializes in appearing desiarably naked then taking flight on her wings with a lonely and isolated male victim firmly gripped in her eagle claws - who in spite of his proliffic coffee intake - happened to fell asleep during a long Finnish night of the Dark Moon. Especially during the long. long winter.

But not in Hamburg - or Helsinki where summerhas also arrived as meteriologically predicted, then disconnected itself into dark-gray clouds, rain, ( with thunderstorms!) and cool if not Really Cold nights.

Others here on this planet  (good luck with visitors on Mars) have to sweat it out - with or without a water supply.

Or perish from self-evaporation?

Not to forget the fires, raging all around us !!!

That is the version that I actually have and use and wear with pleasure. 

When everything around me is going astray and it gets dark and gloomy, the K0 gives me the strength, the energy and the courage  - perserverance - and even the willpower----for me to carry on throughout the long dark nights and into the daybreak of a New Morning ---- or just another dismal, dreary day.

So much for this pathos smile))

But the K0 could become a candidate for our friend!

The black Seiko diver I can understand and am familiar with but I did not notice this black skeleton Cartier before.

Does it work in a formal occasion? I'm sure it does and would undoubtedly draw admiring glances. smile Would love to see more; any WS?

I can understand your predisposition with these trendy char-grilled cases but you must admit they do stand out and seem to fit certain pieces. Anyway, I think black objects, whatever they are tend to have a following irrespective of fashion trends.
