It seems that the additional controversies around watches and sportsmen, such as Blake's RM Tourbillon at the Olympics and now Murray's misplaced Rado at the US Open presentation ceremony, adds to the exposure in the general media. Is any publicity good publicity? Probably.

... Murray + Rado / watch and it is the lead story in most of the reports. Murray and his entourage scrambled around before the formal presentation, some say delaying proceedings, looking for his watch.

Priceless publicity for Rado. But even better if he wore it during the match. Although I must admit I remove my watch to play tennis as well.

Funny to see those guys grabbing watches
out of their tennis bags after a big match. Not exactly the first thing us mortals need after sweating through a couple sets. Federer well known with Rolex, and I noticed Djokovic with an AP.
Now that Murray is a grand slam champ I wonder what will be next on his wrist......
But the exposure received with a watch on the wrist while hoisting the US Open or Wimbeldon, etc trophy is incredible.
