This morning I received an unexpected notice from PuristSPro management that I am not longer a moderator, effective immediately.
From 2006 to now, from ThePuristS to PuristSPro, it was all great fun. It was one of the factors in helping hone my horological compass, so to speak.
This site and community has grown tremendously and positively, but now has come to a stage where I am apparently unable to contribute. Times change and people must be moved on.
To my fellow gentlemen moderators I have had the pleasure of meeting in person, even if only once:
Andrew H
Alec
Don C
Foversta
Hororgasm
KIH
Magnus
Marcus
Patrick Y
Small-luxury-world
It really was a pleasure.
To the others, I wish you all well.
But it is the forum members who make this what it is - without you this would all be absolutely impossible.
I now join the rest of you, and will try to participate here as best I can.

PS: Please keep an eye on the Cartier forum.

Or else I would never have known the lost art of peanut polishing. ;-)

A wonderful moment that unites the three of us...

And in the meantime I am enjoying the Seiko Kinetic Chronograph.

I look forward to being on the other side, alongside you now.

And I trust all is well.

And I appreciate the occasions you wrote to me about recalcitrant posts. Community members like yourself are invaluable.

I always look forward to your next orange watch!

It’s not difficult to find passionate amateur but very scarce to find ardent and well educated journalist in this field.
The reason is very simple: It needs diligence, budget and manner. Fortunately you have all.
This time, Chronos Japan covers talk session among you, Mr. Gisbert Brunner and me.
We have thought that Singapore will be the most influential market in whole world and you’ll tow that.
Now you are not modulator of PuristS, but still wonderful journalist in this filed. Hope to see your next challenge in this field.
Keep in touch,
HIROTA, Masayuki
and everything I have learnt from you. It is a shame you don't write in English, otherwise you would be one of the most famous journalists in the world!

and that is richer and more precious than the rest.

Thank you for your contributions and I wish you well on your endevours whatever they may be. With that said, your articles and knowledge on Cartier have certainly made a positive impact to the forum and I have benefited from them, gaining a better understanding to the brand. Till I meet you again, thanks for all you have done for us. Await your future posts on the Cartier forum! Stay active nonetheless.
Best wishes
