Got a nice surprise this morning
I Woke up to my eldest daughter Singing the yearly song to me. All kisses from my wife and kids.
My wife know i just bought my 1 st ROLEX . The watch is still in Geneva . She took the time to make this cake for me with the exact watch on it.. I am so touch by her gesture. It really made my day .

I walk to the dinning room and there was a box, i figure it must be the bday cake. I opened it and to my surprise , i saw THIS

I realize now that i am indeed a very lucky man. Thks for reminding me.
When i first saw the 8171, it was at the antiquorum auction cateloge a few months ago. They had one that was really prestine and untouch. It was love at first sight. When this chance come along 4 days ago, i tried my luck and won it.
Yes i agree w you rolex sd make a similar watch but in 40 mm . That would be a killer pcs.
I hv never been attracted to mordern Rolexs until only recently, the Plat Daytona w ice blue dial/ brown ceramic bazel and the new SS yatch master w blue bazel really take my breath away. Looking forward to more Rolexs in the future.
