There is a good selection, a few missing and a few oddies. Mens complication... The Tudor heritage? I love this Tudor but put it next to the logical one or skybridge...
I can put my number 1 in most catagories... But whether they will be the final winners in another question!!

Honestly this "prize" is in a death spiral of increasing absurdity. Incompetent is another word that comes to mind. So does bizarre. So, Nico I join in doing my best to avert my gaze and ignore the whole idiotic exercise.

... and I'm very surprised by the list of entries at all levels.
Let me see if I've got this straight: Kari Voutilainen's VR-8 is part of the "Men's Watch" category. Maybe I'm just a dumb ol' Purist, but last time I checked, a power reserve was a complication. And to further beat the master's drum, how is it the 28 Sarasamon isn't even listed in the "Artistics Craft" category?

looking at the jury list , it appears to me to comprise
a well balanced group of individuals from various disciplines including musician John Mayer. I am only familiar with a few names from that list, Aurel Bacs, Philippe Starck , John Meyer , Elizabeth Doer ( a great writer and contributor to magazines and newspapers and who i follow on twitter ), Benjamin Clymer and Nick Foulkes ( IMHO a good writer who is a regular contributor to the Patek magazine ).
