Hi all,
I am looking for some of your expert advice. I am considering a
JLC Master Ultra Thin Moon 39 (in SS) and wondering if I should also be considering other watches in the same price range, which I would set at approximately US$9,000 - US$12,000 pre-tax. I only have one other watch, the JLC Grande Taille, and I love it. It's my everyday watch. While I love JLC, I am also open to checking out other manufactures and other models within the wonderful JLC family.
Some background to guide your advice...
I am a young female with a preference for male watches, though my wrist cannot handle anything over 40mm diameter (thus wiping out Panerais and many IWCs, which look like hamburgers on my wrist).
Because I already have a rectangular watch, I would prefer a round face this time.
I am not particularly committed to Swiss manufactures.
My approach to watches is not really an "investment" mindset. I focus mainly on whether the watch looks good on my wrist and that's about it.
My watch knowledge is admittedly narrow, which is why I am seeking your expertise here. I would appreciate any recommendations that you may have! Thank you so much.
