Horological Meandering

and I couldn't help but admire his Navitimer. Not commonly seen here or even in my part of the world, but I really like this one, and for my friend, since we went shopping for this about 18 months ago, he's not stopped wearing it and it's become his "one" watch. The IWC Pilot Mark XVI and his Omega Speedmaster have been relegated to some little corner of his safe and has not been worn since. He isn't a collector, or so he says, but he swears that this one with the B01 caliber runs at  an accuracy of +2 secs per month which is amazing.

Just a comparison of simple and complex, and even complex don't look bad at all!

Makes you feel like a traveller through time.

The Glashutte is no slouch with that awesome plexi.  The really got the 60's vintage feel right.

Still it is an impressive watch, which shows some very nice details.

I like that Breitling's signature dials are usually very busy with text, but somehow it adds up to the character of the watch. My only regret is that the sizes keep getting bigger.

 

That's a stunning vintage Breitling with a great pairing to the strap...and the movement looks superb. That's definitely one I would wear. Out of curiousity, what is the size of this one when compared to the current trend of bigger is better?
