Hi Guys,
I am about to pull a trigger of getting myself a first RM watch. How excited!!

I was considering an RM30 because of the big size which is similar to RM11 and the uniqueness as not much of RM30 that I have seen as it is very new. When I tried it on in the boutique, it looks like RM11 is much better looking and suits me better.

What do you guys think?

Sorry to pass the buck straight back to you, but only you can tell which watch you would prefer. Personally, I think you already answered your own question and are thinking more about the RM011!

Does it matters which series should I get? On the boutique they only have AG for the RM11, and as far as i know, its better to get the latest production year such as AL for 2011.

I'm  leaning towards the rm 30 because I like the cool de clutch feature but not really sure how truly functional it is.  The 11 has a chrono plus annual calendar which are great.   My 2 cents is I'm going for the 30 because of all the 11's variations and limited editions.

Honestly it depends on how you're gonna wear your RM.

I went to the boutique again just now, looks like rm11 might be the one...

But that's what I personally love about it.  I'd choose the RM011.

If so maybe that is the one to go with, I like the functionless and complications of the 11 but the 30 is something new...  In 10 years what do you see yourself with? 

No matter what, you will be happy and cant go wrong with either, it is just a matter of maximizing utility at this point.  Congratulations.  Ben

 

Hi! read that the RM030 is slightly wider then the RM11, is that true?

I'm sort of leaning towards the RM030 because I don't need a chrono function and the RM030 has a new movement.
