How to wear a Richard Mille RM011 NTPT watch

This is what a RM011 NTPT should look like and a masterclass on how to wear one in public......

 

 








I think the concept and execution of this material for watch cases has merit in both function and form.

Better performance and aesthetic pleasure: what's not to like?

 

I did not like the green seaweed or algae look of the Richard Mille Yohan Blake edition watch-case.

 

What do you think? Is this the way to wear a watch?

is likewise in the very top echelon of cool!  Great shots MTF and I think the first I have seen of the NTPT watch on the wrist!  Kudos for that.

However, having worn the RM059YB, I like it!  Not for the everyday wear, such as this would be, but more in terms a sports tourbiilon it is an extremely comfortable watch on the wrist, as well as a unique look.

The quick blurry shot with iPad was when Richard wore the infamous pink trousers!
I held on to these proper camera shots until the watch was officially launched.

The secret of getting early on-the-wrist shots of Richard Mille new models is to.......er.....park yourself next to Richard Mille: he gets to test the prototypes!

Have to disagree...yes a super cool chap no doubt, but I think I must be the only one, not getting on with the new material, it reminds me of plastic fake wood,sort of back in the 70's where plastic parts in cars where given a 'fake' grain...need to see one in person I should imagine, but the pics aint doing it for me at all

I love it a lot including the strap too

Am i the only one who thinks the 11 looks a little narrower than the usual models? 

Or is this just a case of black being a slimming shade? 

Personally, i find the NTPT kinda meh.

Seriously, I think the dimensions are the same for RM011 models. The unique selling point of this new case material is not the surface pattern nor the colour, although anything must be better than the transluscent green-yellow 'floating algae' case of the Yohan Blake edition.....?

I was more interested in the materials science involved. Using this material makes more sense if the specifications and manufacturing benefits are true.

You may be right: black is 'slimming'.
