I am 100% certain the dial is wrong
Although JLC 'might' have confirmed authenticity (how? by looking at the watch in person? and, more importantly, who, and did they provide a certificate?), I am totally certain this dial is a repaint.
While one can argue that the watch is indeed authentic (as its case / movement / hands, and base dials were indeed produced by the LeCoultre manufacture and as such this is not a counterfeit), the dial is very wrong and has obviously been repainted, in a scheme that doesn't work with what the watch should look like originally (and the repaint job is poorly done).
Stay away from this one (or buy it for parts only ! )

However, I really like the way it looks, so will keep looking around for some information or documentation. Please keep me in mind in case anything pops up.

I recall having a discussion with a good friend about the "Heritage Department" of JLC.
Can you please, Clavi and Amanico, elaborate about it?
I know that Patek Philippe have a strong team. I know that Longines have a 6 members strong team, a museum curator and a separate supervintage sercicing/ repairing/ restauration dept, which shows their depth of expertise and strong commitment to their heritage. But what about JLC?

JLC has only the JLC archives, not the Lecoultre archives which were lost.
So, JLC will only provide informations on the prod year, the reference. It is by not mean a certificate of authenticity. But an extract of the archives. Not the same.
That being said, I had a privileged contact at the Heritage Gallery, which allowed me to get some very interesting informations and documents to write my reviews on some vintage JLCs.
