The gold with rectangular case really works well!
When scrutinised under the macro lens like in this picture, I'd note a few things...
1. The tiny gold stars on the moonphase is always excellent to have. Textured moon is a nice touch.
2. Date windows have relatively unrefined edges compared to the striking contrast of the sharp metal indices next to it, and the sharp cutout of the moonphase.
3. Could be perspective, but its amazing how close the minute hand clearance is to the dial...which is an aesthetic bonus for such hands shape.
4. Not forgetting the applied indice at 6, I usually dislike if its numerals that are truncated but such applied tiny baton indices are a nice touch.
5. Interesting to note (which I haven't realised before), is the little internal stepped bezel required to hold the sapphire glass that is prominent in this macro picture. Thinking about it, it just makes you ponder over getting the rectangular case to perfectly fit the rectangular sapphire crystal (which I imagine is much easier with a circular case). Glued on?
One of the complication Reversos that appeals to me besides the simple no-frills model..
