Warm and Rich With Details
If only the manufacture would take more cues from these recent classics. Its focus on the distant past has overlooks how many of the company's finest efforts occurred in the last twenty years!
This piece soars on the strength of the color combination, but there are a few other details that offer real charm. The use of only two Arabic numerals is quirky and distinctive, the miniature indices at three and ten maintain the arch of the hour track but could easily be overlooked at first glance, and the slender baton hand on a minimalist sub-seconds keeps the focus on the top half of the dial. The use of such considered and effective techniques speaks to the care that JLC's designers lavished on this deceptively simple dial.

I'm waiting for "Master Blacks" to be added to the list!
The steel version was gorgeous on black strap. But on the old bracelet (rice-grain), it looked just like a Patek. Had the chance to see one recently (in steel on bracelet); just a killer piece!

Always liked the RDM
For me its is one of the classics of the Master range.
As its black dialled, its probably got a crystal back - a medallion on the case back would be the cherry on top.

I will try to feed the " black master " category a bit more, in the future. I have to post something on the black Memo Cal 914.
