Lecoutre Deep Sea Alarm. Time to celebrate my 30, 000th picture.
The Lecoultre Deep Sea Alarm is probably one of the watches I photographed the most.
When I took a series of pictures, I noticed that the counter of my Leica D Lux 6 showed that it was my 30, 000th!
30, 000 photos in 3 years and two months with this camera.
It had to be a Jaeger Lecoultre, even if, in this case, it is a Lecoultre, and it had to be one of the most important watch for me.
Time flies, Passion is alive and kicking.

I´m still with my D Lux 5 and I´m not satisfied with the results I can get from it. But mine is a photographer problem, not a camera restriction.
Your skills with your camera and lighting are much superior than mine, so for you it is just a case of finding a good excuse to buy the new model!! Lol!

The 6 is very good. Hard to master, but once you get how it works,
You can go quite far with it.
Now, it has been written that the D Lux, the current one, is better. I have to check that by myself...

fantastic pixs taken with your D lux
maybe I should consider getting one as well. The typical M series are quite a challenge to take pictures but the purists love it as it brings back the purity of photography and its quirkiness.
I guess it never get tired taking pictures of the DSA. The TT DSA is probably one of the rare releases that sticks as close to the original. Bravo !
The M series is great, but not for watch pictures, due to the fact that it doesn' t have macro.
