I bought a Reverso Platinum Number 2 in 2004 for an important birthday.
3 years after, I decided to sell it to fund some other watches. Not that I regret having funded the watches in question, BUT.... I strongly regret having let my Platinum Nr 2 go.
Why the regret? This is simple, it is such a marvel.
I am not a tourbillon guy, I only like when they are on the back, or on the dial side, but with a special feature, or when they are part of the dial design ( Gyrotourbillon, or GP Tourbillon with bridges ).
Here, all is marvelous. The case size ( GT case, not far from perfection and absolute class ), the ruthenium dal the silver powder florale numbers, the 18 Ct white gold movement, and this delicious tourbillon which has the good taste to be on the verso side, for the selfish pleasure of its owner.
Look at this dial...

The movement is superb, too... The soleillé decoration converges to the tourbillon.

And, now, the details which explains the title I chose... The curious coincidence is that it is THE watch I bought in 2004! Nr 64.
I have a curious habit when it comes to a limited edition I sold. When I see one, I always look at the number. This is the first time I fall on a watch I sold. In this case, it's been 13 years!
Coincidence or sign?
Best,
Nicolas
