Jaeger-LeCoultre

What a pair of beauties?

I know how much that will appeal to you!

The Tourbillon is such a dilemma for me. It is, without doubt, a fascination as a complication. I can imagine total absorption with one. But this is a very dangerous path to start treading for sure.

For me, I would not have a clear personal preference between these two...i can see either being total absorption.

Wait a bit, I will post in late November, early December a review on the 4 Gyrotourbillons. Including, of course, my absolute favorite... Yes, they really are fascinating, and, like you...

I am not really a Tourbillon Fan. But when they come like this....

3.4mm thickness makes a big difference!

I was very positive surprised by the Tribute to Gyrotourbillon!

Not only by its beauty, but also by its wear ability.

Thank you for this post.

Exactly my point. Thanks for your input, Blomman. [nt]

The JLC Gryo 2 is one of my favorite watches.

Thanks for taking time for reviewing the watch. Glad that it is going to become a “classic” piece. Truely spectacular!

It was natural to compare both of them. But I am also working on a comparative review on the whole Gyrotourbillon family. Each of them brings something special. [nt]

To me there none other than the Tribute. Though nigh are fascinating technologically and are both marvelously constructed it is all about the way it wears. After all these are WRISTwatches. The 2 is simply unwearable for me and my 6 1/4 inch wrist.

Whereas the Tribute fits perfectly.

The decoration of the Tribute.
The hemispherical hairspring.
The functionality.

All lead me to the Tribute as the one.

And with its two time zone function we can continue our discussion as to the better travel watch.

Sure that the Tribute has a lot of assets. As for the best travel watch, that will lead us to an exciting and endless discussion. [nt]
